Adoption update on Lucy and Blue

Remember Lucy and Blue? We received a wonderful update on Lucy and Blue, who have been in their new home for a few weeks now — and they’re thriving!
After spending eight months in the shelter, they were adopted in January 2026 and are clearly loving home life. Lucy settled in right away, while Blue took a few extra days to warm up. Now they’re both comfortable, happy, and have officially claimed the couches as their favorite spots.
Their family is starting neighborhood walks and slowly building up to bigger adventures together — with a beach trip planned soon.

2025 Financial Snapshot
Like many organizations, we felt the strain in 2025 as donations and funding were limited. Thanks to careful budgeting and savings from previous years, the shelter was able to cover the shortfall and meet every animal's needs.
