Exciting News! North Beach PAWS was voted Non-Profit of the Year by Greater Grays Harbor Inc. business members. This is a wonderful recognition of our volunteers and the work we do for animal welfare in our community.

Cat and Dog Highlights: During the first 5 months of 2025, 306 cats and 50 dogs

have been adopted. WHOOHOO! As of June 2025, there were 29 cats and 24 dogs in the shelter, with 3 dogs and 75 cats (mostly kittens) in foster care. Animal care costs at North Beach PAWS average $15,000/month for cats, dogs, kittens, and puppies at the shelter or in foster care. This includes litter, food, formula, supplies, and veterinary care, including vaccines and spay/neuter surgeries.

Low-Cost Vaccination Clinics: Core vaccines & microchips for dogs & cats -

just $20 each. First come, first served. From 11am - 3pm.

● Elma - July 12th @ THE GRANGE, 401 W. WALDRIP ST.

● Hoquiam - August 16th @ LA VOGUE CYCLERY, 523 LEVEE ST.

● Ocean Shores - Sept. 13th @ BEACON PEST CONTROL, 402 DAMON RD

Grants and Recognition: Stop by the Freedom Yard to see the new donor sign that acknowledges those who made the Freedom Yard possible. The yard greatly enhances the quality of life for the shelter dogs by providing fresh air and exercise. Thank you!

Thank you, Petco Love for the generous $5,000 life-saving grant for our Spay/Neuter program.

Volunteers Corner: The shelter is seeking more volunteers in all areas including care for cats and dogs, garage sale help and maintenance. We have an increased need for kitten fosters and for people with cashier experience for the Garage. Sign up today at northbeachpaws.org/volunteer

Weekly Garage Sale: Summer merchandise is on display including a car and

sailboat! Proceeds of all sales go directly to support the well-being of the cats and dogs in our care. Donations for the shelter are accepted online at northbeachpaws.org/donate.

The shelter and the garage sale are OPEN on Saturdays from 10-4 p.m. Donations accepted on Saturdays from 10-4 p.m. and Mondays from 1-3 p.m.
