NB PAWS took in dozens of cats this year that came from a hoarding situation and a backyard breeder. These cats were terribly neglected and needed a lot of care, both physical and emotional.
Now that the animal control cases have gone through the courts, we are finally able to place these cats into loving homes.
Caring for so many cats, some for more than three months, has stretched our funding, space and volunteer help to the max. It also limits how many other cats from the area we are able to assist. So far this year we have cared for almost 700 cats and kittens! We desperately need your help!
Now that they are available for adoption, because they deserve a real home and because we have so many, through August 31, NB PAWS will adopt out these wonderful adult cats at half the normal adoption fee. We have about 40 adult cats in the shelter, and they are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, free of parasites and ID chipped. There has to be one or two that would be perfect for you!
