Everest Needs Your Help to Climb Back to Health

Everest, who was not even three months old when he came to North Beach PAWS, must have his eye removed, and your help is needed! This sweet kitten was abandoned, with his eye badly infected. He has had veterinarian care and medications since he came to North Beach PAWS at the end of August. The vet said the eye has been so badly compromised that there is no choice but to remove it to avoid ongoing infection, so he will no longer have to live in pain. It has been determined that he has no sight in that eye.

We are looking for help in funding his veterinarian visits and eye removal surgery, which occurred on September 14. If you are able to help, please note “Everest” on your check or use our secure donation site and designate the donation for Everest. All designated proceeds will go toward his medical care. Anything beyond what is needed will remain in the vet emergency fund to help future cats and dogs with severe illness or injury.

Once he has recovered from surgery, Everest will be available to adopt into the right home!

Thank you!
